What does it mean to be an "international camper", what does it do to you?
No one ever described it better than John Wiltshire in the following poem, as published in the camps "Clarion" (no1) in 1971
WHAT IS MY COUNTRY
What is my country?
They asked me,
and suddenly I realised
that I no longer knew.
That I couldn't even answer,
in any language,
in any place,
in any time.
For here I am,
a citizen of the world.
